CLOROX RESOLUTION FROM THE FLORIDA CHAPTER EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

The Florida Chapter Executive Committee, meeting in NW Florida on
January 19-20, passed the following resolution UNANIMOUSLY:

CLOROX RESOLUTION FROM THE FLORIDA CHAPTER EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE JANUARY
19, 2008

WHEREAS, the Clorox Company is recognized as a major polluter;

WHEREAS, the Clorox Company is a consistent violator of Environmental
laws;

WHEREAS, the Clorox Company produces products that are unusually
damaging to people and the ecosystem;

WHEREAS, the Clorox Company has 9 industrial facilities that use and
store hazardous chemicals in large quantities that pose major risks to
14,362,964 neighbors.

RESOLVED , the Sierra Club must maintain our conservation integrity;

RESOLVED, that the Sierra Club rescind the partnership with the Clorox
Company, and quickly return any royalties that may have been accrued
from the Clorox Company
